Family Reunion!

Last week we left for our Peterson side Family Reunion!!! We went to a place called Happy Jack Arizona! We left early on Thursday morning. It was almost an 12 hour drive!! It was a little long but really fun. On our way there we stopped at the Glendale Dam. It was cool because my grand parents, over the years watched year after year them building it. This was outside the building. We dipped Avery's feet in the fountain because it was HOT outside! Welcome to Arizona!!! Just to let you know all of my pictures got out of order and I don't know how to fix it. Sorry I will just explain each picture!
This is just a picture of part of our drive. We made lots of twist and turns and had really beautiful scenery to look at. It was not just a straight and boring drive. On the way there everyone was happy and exited to get there. Avery did sooo good. We had to stop four times just for her. (poopy diapers) I think that was her way of telling us she needed to stretch! LOL
My mom took a lot of naps with Avery. It was hot with no A/C so she said it made them tired! It was a good excuse at least! Ha Ha
This is Cassie. She is 7 years old. She was sooo cute because it was the first time she met Avery. She went around saying how excited she was to have a new cousin. She also loved holding Avery. Her and her sister. Along with everyone else. Avery did good but got annoyed with everyone and just wanted to be with me, boomer, Shelly or my mom.
Avery with mamas shades on! Opps same picture!
On the way there it was only my threesome family and Shelly and Scott! Believe it or not they did not fight!! So it was nice and peaceful. We jammed out to some Toby along with many others!
We had a big dinner and breakfast the next morning. All of my moms brothers and sister were there! We had about 69 people. It was good to be with everyone! My uncle Keith does this trick with all of the little kiddos!!

This is Peyton. I know that is not how they spell her name, but I don't know their way of spelling it. Sorry!! She is TWO days older that Avery but her mom got her the same day Avery was born!!! It was a really neat story of how she was adopted. So that is really special to me! We both got our girls on the same day!
Boomer, me, and little chicken slept in tent!! We were truly campers. Yes, Avery did good and yes, she slept all night!!! That is what everyone has asked!! LOL
Me and my Grandpa dancing! A very different kind then what I am use to! Not bumping and grinding!!! A guy came to the lodge and sang all sorts of songs! It was a blast, everyone dancing and having fun!!
Just playing with Grandma having fun!

This is were it was not fun!! The way home. Everyone was tired and dirty! We had seven people in our car. It was a little smoochy! Avery was getting really restless. On the way up I was able to nurse her while she was in her car seat. But there was no room to do that on the way home!

This is me going crazy Scott was crying. Avery was crying. Kristy was crying. Mom was sleeping! Me, I was about to pull my hair out! LOL But we made it safe and sound, with no one dying!
This was mt favorite part! Horse back riding! For what ever reason I love riding horses! I got to go twice. The first time was just Shelly and me. The second was me, boomer, Paul, and Tracey! Both times were funny and made great memories! I wish I had a picture of Tracey. She was absolutely funny!
Strike a pose!!!! OK so I may not look like a cowgirl but I sure felt like it!
Me and Shelly heading off for our ride!

TEETH!

Avery's first two teeth are here! I am so excited!! I have been able to see them under her gums for some time now. But they have finally come through! Her first one come and her second one was not far behind! The only bad side.... It has made her a little cranky. I am hoping that will go away real soon!

You can't see them in the picture but they are there! I can't get a close up it just goes blurry.

A Hiking we will go!!

So I had this great idea that it would be fun to go hike Timpanogos!! Well about 3/4 of the way up it was not that great of an idea!! LOL I have done it once with my dad before and don't remembering it being that hard! Poor boomer, his knees were killing him. I had Avery strapped to the front of me, so it was an extra 17 pounds! We really did have fun. It was an awesome work out and felt great to be going something outdoors! I hope to be able to go again but maybe this time without my sweet chicken. I actually want to make it all the way to the top! Ha Ha!

Happy Fathers Day!

I want to say Happy Fathers day to my sweet Boomer!! He is such a good dad! The day that Avery was born changed our lives forever! He is so thankful for her but more than that he is sooo proud of her. His eyes light up when she does something new! She is a mamas girl but I think that will change as she gets older. While at a dinner party he was able to dance with her to a daddy/daughter song. He has to excuse himself before he started bawling! It was so sweet. Avery is very lucky! So I just wanted to shout that out there before we get going for the day! Also I would like to thank my dad for this last time he was visiting! It really was fun. Tracey's graduation and Lagoon for the whole day! I don't get to see him very much but it has been really good lately so Happy Fathers day to you! Also my "last" father... My grandpa Peterson. I have been very close to my grandpa. I am thankful that he is in my life. I love talking to him and listening to all of his wisdom. I am so grateful that he was able to seal me in the temple. I look forward when we are able to go over and spend time with them! HAPPY DADS DAY!

Night in the E.R.

So starting on Sunday my teeth were hurting. I thought it was because I had just had some fillings done and did not think anything of it. Well Monday they were hurting so bad I thought I was going crazy!! I went through that day just trying to put it out of my mind. That night We had bought a new car and Tracey and my dad had just gotten home from their cruise, of course I was trying to show it off. I got loaded up on pain pills so my mom kept Avery for the night! I can't even describe that type of pain I was in. I did not sleep. I even took more pain pills and even sleeping pills. Every time I would fall asleep I was woken up by this intense pain. Finally at three in the morning I was starting to panic and in my head I thought I was going to lose it. So we headed to the I.M.C hospital. It took about one hour, but I was numb and finally able to go to sleep. I had to go to a special dentist called and endoligist. I had a root canal. I hope no one ever goes through that. I want to give a special thanks to my mom. I forget that I still am a child who needs her mom. I called her about ever half hour. Yes even at two and three in the morning. She kept Avery for two nights for me! And helped me while my mouth hurts. Thanks you for being a great mom and a wonderful grandma. I am very lucky that you and Avery have a good relationship. It gives me a nice break!!!!! Thank you again for all of your help and love!

So we had been talking about getting a new vehicle for a while. Our 99 maxima was giving a headache of trouble (the midas people knew us by name), so after the fourth time in the shop and another 200$ later we had enough. The hunt began. We had decided that we wanted a toyota highlander. We went to a big name dealership and they had one. We test drove it and got all the pressure in the world from him to buy it that day. My uncle is the general sales manger of a toyota dealership in New Mexico so we wanted to talk to him before be bought anything to see what kind of deal he could do for us. The day we talked to him the best deal he could do was more than the price we could get here so we decided to narrow the search. We decided that since were going to keep it for a long time to go with the Highlander that has 7 passenger seating. Well the one at the big name dealership didn't have that so it took that one out of the picture. Next we got on Autotrader and searched, we found one that was an incredible deal as long as there wasn't anything wrong with it. So we test drove it, oh ya by the way I was having the most incredible tooth ache of all time while doing this process. So anyway we test drove it and really liked it. David had to go back to work and I needed to pick up my brother and sister from school so we didn't really talk with the salesman about price. David then called back to the dealer and told them our offer. The car was priced really low to begin with but they knocked another 700$ then we went to the bank. We were approved pretty easily and we got the Highlander for $5000 under the actuall value of it. We walked in and paid for it with a check and then it was ours!!!!!

Congraulations!!

I am sooo proud of Tracy! On June 3rd she graduated from Alta High School! Ever since I have become a mom I am the biggest boob!!! I could not help but sit and tear up. Tracey and I at times struggle to have a good relationship but we still love each other. As we both grow up and more mature we realize that we can actually be friends and it is nice to have her as a friend. She graduated with almost a perfect 4.0! And she was top of her C.N.A class out of like 12 schools! She also was honored with ropes that she earned from the tech center. (Her C.N.A) On top of that she was the secretary in her C.N.A class!! She was very busy! She got a full ride scholarship and chose to go to Salt Lake Community College. She is going to do awesome I know it! Congrats Tracy I really am proud of you and wish you all the success. I love you!

Funny story... Tracy never picked up her ropes so the morning of her graduation I was at Alta running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to find her ropes! After about ten minutes I was able to track down the lady who had them. We got to the place where her graduation was and now I just had to find her. I asked an usher and it was his first day so he did not want to get in trouble. He told me it was too late, they were already lined up and were about to enter the arena. I started crying and begging. "Please you only graduate once and these are her ropes!!" Well it worked and I was sent down the the floor to talk to another usher. He told me to go behind the curtains. As soon as I got there I was greeted with 850 kids! I was running up and down the lines of kids yelling her name! She was not there. Thankfully I ran into Alex who told me I was on the wrong side!!!! So I hurried over to the other side and caught her just as they were walking out!!! I don't know why I stress out so bad over stuff like that but it was important to me, my mom, and her!! Moral of the story! TRACEY PICK UP YOUR ROPES WHEN MOM TELLS YOU TO!!!!

Birthdays

Ok so because I am soooo far behind I will just have to recap on our birthdays!!! I turned 22 and Boomer turned 26! I still feel young boomer on the other hand... LOL I had such a great birthday. I got a really cool vanity that I can sit and do make-up. I also got some shirts and other odds and ends. I got yummy crapes and TGI Fridays for lunch. I totally recommend the French Onion soup. We raced go-carts at boondocks and went to Red Lobster with our friends Kaylin and Jason. We had a Oreo ice cream cake for dessert. It was so fun and I felt so loved by everyone! Davids Birthday was a bit calmer. I got up and made breakfast but he had to go to work. I guess we are no longer kids!!!Ha ha I got him a nice Nike putter and some other golf stuff. My mom watched Avery while we went and acted like a bunch of silly kids playing at a Nickle Cade. I made Pork chops for dinner and it was kind of just a quite night! But another years older and wiser too!!!

2 Whole years

WOW I can't believe that I have been married for two years!!! On June 1 2006 David and I were married in the Salt Lake City Temple. I remember that day well. My grandpa Peterson was able to seal us together forever. We had a nice lunch at Lion House. Then we had a reception Aspen Landing. Some of the things that I remember most..... We had desserts but we ( boomer and me) did not get one bite! There was dancing and it was a blast. It was not this huge reception but I think it fit us. At the end before we rode off in the limo, Kaylin was in the bathroom with me helping me go pee! My dress was really puffy and it felt like there were one hundred layers!!! It was so funny! That day changed my life. I married my best friend, my soul mate. I know that I was to be with David. He is truly a great guy! For those of you that know him, I mean really know him you will know what I am talking about! He is a little hard to get to know because he is quite but once opens up he is amazing. And if you don't believe me ask Grandpa Peterson or my mom!! Babe I love you with all of my heart. Thanks you for EVERYTHING you do! I am so blessed that I found you!
