Christmas!

Well the good news... This post is only one month behind!! We had an awesome Christmas this year. Avery loved all of her toys but it took her awhile to play with them. She just wanted to look at them and make sure there was nothing to scary about them. At my moms house she would not open any of her gifts. I think it was because all through December while the gifts were sitting under our tree, we told her no no to opening them. She was able to sneak in two gifts that she unwrapped. I kept hearing this little rip. And I found her in tiny pieces of paper all around her with a gift half way unwrapped. It was too cute. But up at Davids parents house she was so into unwrapping her gifts. She would tare off a piece and hand it to someone then over and over again. After actual Christmas we went up to Paradise and spent a couple of days up there with Davids side of the family. It was real fun and we got a lot of great gifts.
While we were up in cache valley we went to Hardware Ranch. They fed all the wild elk during the winter. You can ride out in a big sleigh pulled by horses and look at them all up close. It is a breathtaking view.
David main gift this year was a grill. I am so excited to start grilling. We both love to grill and and the food taste so much better. Both David and I did pretty good this year. A couple of days after Christmas my dad came and stayed through new years. We get too spoiled when he comes but I live it!! We had fun with him and my brothers and sisters for new years. Just playing games and eating. Yummy egg rolls!!
This is Avery's pile. She loves her kitchen and pony. Her aunt Becca and uncle Jeff got her a desk that plays music and sings songs. She loves that thing, and it is small enough for us to take it with us. I swear it is the pefect toy.

Her ball pit...... She hated this at first. She was scared to sit in it. But now she loves it! One day Boom was sitting on her floor getting her dressed. He had just put on her lotion and was trying to put her pants on. She made a running start and dove straight in to her ball pit head first. It was hilarious! She uses it as a way to not get dressed!

Her grandma Rawlins gave her this cute tent. It looks like a small hot pink circus tent. She love to play in it and I decided to join her. We had so much fun together. I love how she is getting old enough to play and she understands you.

Congrats!!

I just want to say congratulations to my cousin and Davids cousin . They both had babies a little while ago! My cousin had their third. A beautiful little girl, Janine Rebecca. I need to put a picture on because you will not believe how much hair she has. She easily had three times as much as Avery and it is Black! We just saw her last night and she is such a cutie. Avery loved her. It is a good thing she has older brother and sister because Avery at times was not the most gentle. But it amazed me how much Avery loved the baby! She just wanted to hold her and giver her "kitty" Kisses. That's licking the baby! LOL She did a good job but she wont be a big sister for a while!
David cousin just had their first, a little boy, Jacob. We have only seen pictures of him but he is a handsome little fellow. We wish them the best of luck!
Also we just found out that my cousin is prego! I am so excited for her. She is the one that always would play barbies with me! Congrats to her and her family. I will get to see her when they all come up for Erics graducatin from B.Y.U! Family is so important to me and I love when there is new births!

Happy First Birthday

So on October 29 2008 My little girl turned one!!!! I can't even believe it! Time has gone by fast. I can still remember her being in my tummy and kicking the heck out of me. On her actual birthday it was fun reminiscing about her and the day that she was born. I can remember everything well. The sounds and smells and the little details! Like when she came out how she did not even cry. I kept saying is she alive, is she alive??? She has been such a joy in our life. I am so grateful that heavenly father trusted me and David to have her. She bring s happiness to so many people. I know that my mom could not live with out her! This was her eating her "little" cake. Davids mom made her a ladybug cake. She also made a little one just for Avery.
This is the Cake! It turned out so cute. But better than that it tasted so good! Everyone made a commit on how cute it was! Avery was a ladybug for Halloween so that's why we had a ladybug cake. And for those who have her seen her room know why!!

I had to force her to open her gifts. She was tired and starting to get a little sassy. She crashed about half way through her party! Oh well!

We had lots of yummy treats and had a pinata. We also had "boo" bowling. It was fun and thank you all who came and made it worth while!

This was the "boo" bowling. Also I found out my Friend was pregnant. Congrats to her and her family! Little girls are so fun!

Balloon festival

While we were in New Mexico they were having the Balloon Festival. New Mexico is famous for this. We had to wake up at four in the morning to be there and watch them blow up the hot air balloons! We drove to a parking lot where they were offering bus rides to the festival. I could not believe the lines and how many people there were. It was a blast! I have never seen that many balloons or that many people. All you had to do was look up and the sky was full of balloons! The started it off with the national anthem. Before they can send the hot air balloons up they have to test the wind. How they do that is they send test balloons up. It was still dark while they were doing this. And all you saw was the flame from the blower. You would look up and see this glowing flame up in the air and it was like looking at a sky full of stars!
These were the cute twin bees! They had so many shapes and colors. From strawberries to ships. Castles to wagons and even a cow! When Avery is older I want to bring her back. It is something that everyone should experience!

We were right there while they were blowing up the cow! It is a process and takes a whole crew! After they get them up they then have to chase them till they land! It can actually be real dangerous. They had a a couple of balloons that hit a power line and crashed.
This was us just standing there and watching them blow it up! Th best part was they sold Dunkin Donuts there!!! I love those. I always have yo go there and get them! It is my weakness!

This was the sun rise! I don't get to see it alot! LOL

NeW mExIcO

The first of October Avery and I went to visit my dad in New Mexico! We stayed for a week and half way through Aunt T.T came and joined us! It was the first time Avery flew on a plane. She loved it and did awesome! While we were there we went to a volley ball game against B.Y.U. Needless to say the Lobos crushed them! It was fun but what was more fun was watching my dad chase Avery all over the bleachers! We all wore our Lobo red! Woof Woof Woof!
Tracey and I took Avery to the mall and found some awesome deals! And thanks to my talking Tracey even got better deals! We also went to the Zoo! Their zoo is so much nicer than the Hogle zoo. I love taking Avery to the zoo and look forward to going more than once this next year.

Avery has her own little chair at grandpas. But in the morning we would eat our breakfast out on the back porch. My dad has his pond with turtles in it. His pond is so beautiful and it is his pride and joy!! The weather was perfect and it was so relaxing to sit outside on his swing watching the silly turtles. Avery liked then but from a distance.

We stayed in the kids room. They have this beautiful mural on the wall that goes up onto the ceiling. I watched countless hours of family videos in this room. They made me laugh and cry and laugh again. Tracey has a hard time watching them because you see my parents together and now that they are divorced...... But I love them. They brought back so many of my best memories. I can't wait for David to watch them!!

My first real shiner

So the day that we were leaving to go the New Mexico, Avery decides to walk down cement stairs and not hang onto anything! OUCH! Well she fell right on her face and got her eye. Everyone kept asking what happened and I felt like like yelling " Stop asking me it was an accident!!" Some people have real nerve saying the things they do! This was right after it happen. It did not look that bad at first but it got worst! She is a tough cookie! She really was a champ! Although the only time I could put medicine on it was when she was asleep. Luckly she has no scar or anything, just cute pictues to show her when she is older!

More Pictures of Vegas

We ate at Planet Hollywood! It was amazing! The ribs were just right and my drink was so refreshing! And when you don't have to do the cooking it makes it even better! Next year for Christmas this is what we want to get Avery!! She would look so cute driving around in it!
This is my sexy baby!!! Doesn't he look so hot!?!?!

Viva las Vegas

So over Labor day weekend we drove down to Las Vegas and met my Dad and Linda. We stayed at my Step sisters house and had a blast! We went to this flee market and and got Avery the cutest Chinese style P.J's. We ate so much yummy food and had fun just being together. On one day we parked at the wrong end and had to walk the whole strip! Every one was super happy that we had to walk over an hour n the HeAt!! This store was the biggest toy store ever!! It was fun dressing up! This is the harry Potter Collection!! It took my dad lots of convincing to put the hat on! But what an amazing picture!
After a couple of days with my parents, they had to head back but we stayed a little longer. It was a fun get away but by the end I was ready to get back to Avery! When we got back she acted like she did not even know me. It broke my heart!! It only lasted an hour but it was so hard!! Hopefully this summer when we leave her again it wont be as bad!
M and M world was a blast. They have new m&ms that have mint chocolate! Oh my gosh to die for.

This is Boom and me just messng around! My feet hurt so bad at the end of each day. I guess next time I should not live in flip flops!

Catch up!

I think this is the longest I have ever gone! For a month I had a really good excuse! Your mom in the I.C.U almost dying and having four kids plus daycare?!?!?!? As for the rest of the three months I have nothing!!! LOL
