Baby Jail

At two days till she was 10 months old, Avery started walking on her own. She would take about 20-30 steps on her own. Then she would fall but it was a really good start. She had been walking round the table and couches for a while but now she was really starting to take off. Now at almost 11 months old she is a pro at walking. She can turn and she is working on how to stand up with out hanging onto anything. She also is a master of the stairs. They are her favorite toy. She will stand on them and yell at the top of her lungs! Then she climbs to the top and waits for us to go and get her. I am going to try to get a video on my camera so I can post it. She knows how to go down stairs too. She will walk over to the wall and step down holding onto the wall or the banisters. So now she can go into Paul's room anytime she wants. Before she would sit on the top stair and yell at hm till he went and got her. Now she walks in whenever she feels like it! LOL I have this book case that I am going to paint, but for now it is sitting in my corner. She loves playing with it. She will go and do her thing and she loves it. I don't know what she will say when I actually get around to the project and it is not there for her to play with.

Bragging...

Me and my sweet chicken! That is what my granny Tuttle use to call us.... Chickens and it just stuck.
I hope no one finds me being too overly cocky but I just think that I am lucky to have Avery as my daughter and I am so very proud of her. The people who read this I hope know that I am not trying to make her sound perfect because everyone knows I have days when she drives me crazy. I just wanted to spotlight her and some of the things I love about her!

She has such a cute little body! I love giving her a bath and watching her chubby legs kick in the water! She loves baths and showers! She also loves running around the house naked! So far she has only peed once on the floor! She is becoming such a big girl. She is not a baby anymore! But she is not yet a toddler. I love watching her figure stuff out. She is really smart. She has a big head so she better put it to good use. LOL She just got her big girl car seat and now weights enough to sit facing forward! She does so much better in the car now.
Avery love her aunts and uncles! When Paul comes home from work the first thing she does is go straight for his room! She loves playing with him and just being with him. It is so cute to watch them together. Paul will make a very good dad one day. Kristy will be Avery's Barney watching friend! They will sit at the computer and watch Barney and sing together. Avery loves to sing and had ever since she was a new born. Scott is the one who plays actively with her. I tried to come up with a word that sounds better than rough. My mom hurt her foot so she had a wheelchair at her house. Scott would push her around for hours pretending to be a taxi. She loved it. She also loves going out on the tramp with the kids! Her favorite is Shelly. I am not sure why but she loves Shelly so much! The way she looks at her is so sweet because it is with true love! Well I think I could go on and on but I will stop there!

Julie Martha Rawlins

Sometimes I feel like tapping into my Martha Stewart side! Davids mom had given me raspberries to make jam with and it turned out so yummy. My aunt and uncle have a apricot tree so everyone thought it would be fun to make apricot jam! The only problem.... No one but David would help me pick the apricot. I had to tell everyone the story of the little red hen! LOL So I went to my grandmas house and we followed the directions. It tasted real good but it was more like syrup. So I guess we made apricot syrup nit jam!

ZOO

So it was like a month ago that we went to the zoo! Kaylin and I headed up there in the morning and stayed for a couple of hours! I am not sure if Avery knew what was going on. I would point to the animals and make their sound, but she just looked at me like I was dumb. She had fun just riding around in her stroller. I got a way good work out. The hills at the zoo were pretty bad! I just had to laugh because I felt like my legs were jello! Obviously that tells me something and I so don't have any excuses not to work out! Avery was brave and sat on the fake alligator. I thought that she might think it was real and get scared but she did good! This is at the end of our trip. I think they were both getting tired and ready to leave! I love looking at the animals! I think that I might of had more fun then anyone else!
We took more pictures with Kaylin's camera but she could not email me the pictures. Bummer! We were watching a live show with the cheetahs when Kaylin booked it to the bathroom. I hurried and followed her thinking that she was sick. It turns out that Easton got sick and had a little case of the runs and it got all over the side of her shirt! But me being such a prepared mom LOL had some oxi clean in my diaper bag and it totally got the poop out!! So I am a fan of Oxi Clean! After that we were standing still looking into some cage when I had this horrible pain in my foot! I kicked off my shoe and almost started to cry! I had gotten stung ny a stupid bee! I t hurt so bad! Kaylin grabbed a penny because she read somewhere that the cooper would take away the sting. It worked! We took some pictures with my foot by the bee but it was with her camera. All in all it was fun and funny! I defiantly want to make sure that we go to the zoo at least once a year! It was a good work out and we had some good laughs!
