Christmas!

Well the good news... This post is only one month behind!! We had an awesome Christmas this year. Avery loved all of her toys but it took her awhile to play with them. She just wanted to look at them and make sure there was nothing to scary about them. At my moms house she would not open any of her gifts. I think it was because all through December while the gifts were sitting under our tree, we told her no no to opening them. She was able to sneak in two gifts that she unwrapped. I kept hearing this little rip. And I found her in tiny pieces of paper all around her with a gift half way unwrapped. It was too cute. But up at Davids parents house she was so into unwrapping her gifts. She would tare off a piece and hand it to someone then over and over again. After actual Christmas we went up to Paradise and spent a couple of days up there with Davids side of the family. It was real fun and we got a lot of great gifts.
While we were up in cache valley we went to Hardware Ranch. They fed all the wild elk during the winter. You can ride out in a big sleigh pulled by horses and look at them all up close. It is a breathtaking view.
David main gift this year was a grill. I am so excited to start grilling. We both love to grill and and the food taste so much better. Both David and I did pretty good this year. A couple of days after Christmas my dad came and stayed through new years. We get too spoiled when he comes but I live it!! We had fun with him and my brothers and sisters for new years. Just playing games and eating. Yummy egg rolls!!
This is Avery's pile. She loves her kitchen and pony. Her aunt Becca and uncle Jeff got her a desk that plays music and sings songs. She loves that thing, and it is small enough for us to take it with us. I swear it is the pefect toy.

Her ball pit...... She hated this at first. She was scared to sit in it. But now she loves it! One day Boom was sitting on her floor getting her dressed. He had just put on her lotion and was trying to put her pants on. She made a running start and dove straight in to her ball pit head first. It was hilarious! She uses it as a way to not get dressed!

Her grandma Rawlins gave her this cute tent. It looks like a small hot pink circus tent. She love to play in it and I decided to join her. We had so much fun together. I love how she is getting old enough to play and she understands you.
